A Main Automation Contractor (MAC) takes full accountability for the Electrical & Instrumentation scope of an oil & gas project. Unlike equipment supply-only or advisory roles, a MAC holds the contract directly from the Operating Company (OPCO) and is responsible for delivering the complete E&I scope — from engineering through to mechanical completion and commissioning.
